For extra tickets: To purchase more than one ticket, simply change the quantity and update the cart when you get to the shopping cart. You must be registered for the meeting to purchase tickets. You may only purchase extra seats for the Welcome Meeting and the Local Reception. The packet you receive at the meeting registration desk will have the amount of tickets that you purchased.

If you have already registered and want to purchase tickets, please login to your LSA account, then go to Dues and Donations, and scroll down to the bottom to select the session you want, and then follow the instructions.

Some events do not require a ticket, but do require session registration when registering for the meeting.


Tuesday, June 5 - Junior Scholars Workshop

The Junior Scholars Workshop encourages graduate students (including advanced law students), post-doctoral fellows, and assistant professors (or other pre-tenure faculty) to move their research and writing toward law-and-society topics and to further develop their awareness of the field and the scholars working in those areas. The Workshop is structured around small-group discussions of participants’ research, professional development panels, and networking opportunities.Junior Scholar Workshop will begin mid-day on Tuesday, June 5, and continue through the day on Wednesday, June 6, 2018. The Workshop is application-based and is already closed.

The Labor Rights CRN invites you on a two-hour walking tour of the Spadina area of Toronto, led by Prof. Craig Herron.

For visitors and tourists, Spadina Avenue is a lively, colourful street. Yet, for generations of working people, it has simply been a place to make a better life. Its neighbourhoods provided housing for thousands of newcomers to Canada. Many found jobs in its factories. And, on street corners and in shops and restaurants, churches and synagogues, and meeting halls, working people reached out to each other to build communities.

The walking tour will begin promptly at 9:00 am. Participants are advised to gather at 8:45am in the Sheraton Lobby to begin the tour. The walking terrain is mild, and the tour will take place regardless of the weather conditions that day. Participants are advised to wear comfortable shoes.

Price: $10 USD (pre-paid with registration).
