Your submission does not need to align with the meeting theme, but we encourage you to consider relating to it. All submissions (abstract, and other relevant information needed by the Program Committee regarding the acceptance of proposals) must be in English.  However, given the nature of the meeting, the Program Committee has decided to allow participants to present in French, as long as the following conditions are met: 1) that proposals are submitted in English, 2) that the presenter in another language shares an abstract or outline of her presentation in English, 3) that all slides (e.g. PowerPoint, Keynote) shall be in English, and, 4) that at least one other participant in the session, roundtable or panel speaks English, and gives her presentation in English.

Everyone attending the meeting is expected to register. Compliance is important for keeping our fees affordable, supporting the organizing entities, and advancing their goals. Only those who register will be included on the official Meeting Program (online and printed), or be allowed to present papers, or attend presentations and other functions. Registrants should wear their meeting badges at all times when at Meeting functions, and satellite events.

You do not have to be a member of LSA or CLSA to participate in the meeting, although we encourage you to join, and will be delighted if you do.

Participants are limited to:  

  1. One participation as a Paper Presenter, Roundtable Participant, Author, or Salon Presenter.
  2. Unlimited appearances as a Chair and/or Discussant on a panel.

Exemptions:  Exempted additional appearances include as a Reader on an Author Meets Reader session, or as a participant on a plenary, a Professional Development or Public Outreach session, or other special event solicited and/or authorized by the Program Committee Chairs.  For all other requests, there will be no exception to the rule.

Being a “non-presenting” paper co-authors does not count as your participation if they do not sit on the session panel and present the paper (Select “non-presenter” when the co-author is added to papers).

It is expected that you will allow your name to be added to the program only in accordance with these limitations.  You will be required to withdraw participations that exceed the limit.
