The registration for 2018 Toronto Meeting will open on Feb 1st.

If you plan on registering at the LSA member price and have not yet purchased your 2018 membership, please do so prior to registering for the meeting. You will need to login again, in order to be recognized as a member. Get more information and purchase your 2018 membership.

The LSA membership discount is applied already if you are an active 2018 LSA member. The members of our co-sponsor for the 2018 Toronto meeting - Canadian Law & Society Association(CLSA) are also eligible for a discount**. The discount code will be provided by the CLSA.

Please note that the registration system is a different system than the abstract submission system so your abstract submission login may not work for registration.The Toronto Meeting registration will be available only from Feb 1st.

  1. Login to your LSA Account (if you already have an account, please do not create a second account, use the "Forgot your Password" link if you do not remember your password. If you have never had an LSA account, use the New Visitor Registration link to create your account).
  2. Once logged in, select Dues and Donations from the left menu.
  3. Select the 2018 International Meeting - Toronto City and follow the instructions.
Crossing the border - Canada Customs

As a reminder, the US Department of State and Homeland Security’s announcement of the Western Hemisphere Travel Initiative states that all US citizens, Canadians, citizens of the British Overseas Territory of Bermuda and citizens of Mexico must obtain a passport or another accepted secure document to enter or re-enter the United States.

Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA)

Canada’s new entry requirement for visa-exempt foreign nationals travelling to Canada by air. Exceptions include U.S. citizens and travellers with a valid visa. Eligible travellers can apply online for an eTA. Travellers will need an eTA before they can board a flight to Canada.
